Smitten with Smithers, BC

We began our day in Prince George, BC.   The weather was a little chilly in the morning, but we ended the day in short sleeves.

The views were incredible from start to finish.

We passed a few of these signs and Jono was smart enough to stay behind a semi...I felt a bit safer.
We saw a Bear that I thought was a statue at first, but as we passed it...yep...it moved.   They look so sweet.

The road took us through lots of small towns with about 4 blocks worth of town.  That was it for most of them.   I wonder what folks do in these towns.  How did they end up there?

One town had the Worlds largest fly fishing rod...Interesting

There were times when there was not another soul in sight!

We ended our day in Smithers, BC.   It's a beautiful little town with a Main Street that was modeled after a town in the Swiss Alps

There are more pics, but we have a slight glitch in the wireless here...I'll post more of them tomorrow.
Next stop is Dease Lake
