This is our last full day in Fairbanks. Everyone has been delightful.
We spent some time chatting with new pals
The parking lots all have these outlets...I still can't wrap my mind around having to plug a car in if it's parked more than 4 hours so that it doesn't freeze.
We decided to see the Car Museum in Fairbanks. Not so exciting from the outside but quite spectacular inside! They had clothes from all the different periods as well
We had a yummy lunch at the Chena Alaska Grill and sat outside in the sunny 75 degree weather overlooking the Chena River.
We hung around the hotel trying to get ourselves organized and packed up for our ride to Tok, AK tomorrow morning.
The evening was spent at a local park called Pioneer Park. It's free to get in and has original homes from the gold rush era moved and put into the park. There are giant paddle boats and a train that runs through the park. One of the fun parts is the Alaska Salmon Bake. Tonight also included Crab legs! Sooooo yummy. You got your food and sat in the in tables surrounded by trees.
(Yes, he shaved!)
Here's the biggest crow I have ever seen....watch out crows of Santa Monica!!!!
We're back to Tok and the Burnt Paw Cabins tomorrow.

These pics were loaned to us from 2 guys we met...This is what we missed in Watson Lake...The sign lot
